have you ever been in that situation where you started arguing with you parent(s) over something which you both/three knew that you were in the right. but they refused to back down because of pride. then they get you to shut up by using that "i'm your senior" or "respect your elders" status. then you start explaining why you chose what you said, they start rebuking you for being rude. after you shut up, they still think that they're in the right and that they've won because you chose to keep quiet. thats freaking irritating. whats worse they start on their "see even when you're so rude i still give you what you want..blah blah blah" nonsense. then just because you hung up on them for saying "you din know your priorities ....and how imature can you get" when its them thats not knowing their priorities. to add on they start harping on you past mistakes and start comparing you with themselves when policemen still wore shorts. blah blah...with that, that parent demands for you to pass him/her your..(something important to you) and says that he/she is confiscating it. WHATS WORSE, THE PROBLEM THAT SPARKS OF THE WHOLE CONFLICT IS BECAUSE OF SELFISHNESS AND INSENSITIVITY.

thats when the cold war starts.
