The Nike 10K Human Race.

A race against myself,
A race against the 999,999 other people.
A race that I was not alone in,
A race that was for the people that make me.

it was an attempt that i made to prove my negative thinking wrong. and i guess it did. 1hour 20minutes after i started, the attempt was successful. but the race doesn't end there. a few things i learn from the race, that was even mentioned in uncle kuang cheng's morning message was that:

1. In this Christian walk, we are not alone. With each other to walk through this life here. Not on "per-race-basis", but the whole way through.

2. Encouragement is of the essence. many a times during the race, giving up was always an option that sat on my mind. but with the encouragement and the rest to run with me, nothing is impossible. Similarly, during our walk with God, stumbling and never getting up is always something that we may face, but with encouragement, the walk will be made smoother and never forgetting He who is "... the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 "
