anw, gonna back date this post to tuesday.

woke up at like 11.30am, just half an hour before my daily dosage of mythbusters, enough time to stone in the bathroom and turn on the com. arnd 2pm bryan decided to switch today's outing to then(tuesday). So after this and that, smses being flown arnd, it was decided that we should meet at city hall.

then when it was time to leave, i left. and because i left in such a hurry, i did the most stupid thing imaginable, instead of taking sing dollars, i took malaysian ringgit, cause both 50 dollar notes are blue. anw, so i had to make a detour to lot one to get the money changed for a very miserable exchange rate. after that, i made my way to city hall, reaching there, i waited for AWHILE for the rest to come, namely bryan and amos. darius, wesley and nat chia were at suntec then. anw after meeting them we decided to eat at marina square. considered Changing Appetites at first, but came to the conclusion that it was too expensive so we went to Carl's Jr. instead.

After a somewhat less expensive dinner, and loads of laughing at the dinner table, we took a walk to the steps of marina square to sit, stone, talk and laugh more. did that till around 11pm then we left. walking to the mrt station and getting home wasn't fun but well, inevitable. reached home at 12.10am and took a bath and slept. day over.

now this blog isn't so dead anymore. XP

Footprints in the Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Scenes from his life flashed across the skyand he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his lifethere was only one set of footprints.
Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,you'd walk with me all the way.I don't understand why, when I needed you most,you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child.I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering when you saw only one set of footprints,
That was when I carried you."

I woke up this morning not realizing that it was already saturday.

gosh the week really flies. oh well.

during the week, it was rather cool, like when i got my results or when i went out to stone with amos and darius. but it so wasn't cool when i got the letter from mindef. sucks man, totally spoilt the week. well it , means the army beckons.

today, had yp, did BS with the guys and after that went for the combined RFG with the marine parade group. led in games with jordan and xin an. super hilarious, even the adults were laughing non-stop. then joel gave the msg, and yea. it was really cool having this combined RFG cause we never had it before with the MP grp.

so yea.

life goes on.

but I'm super high!

WHOOHOO! i got my results back just a few minutes ago and i did better than I had expected! wahahahaha!

We walked from Somerset to Dobhy Ghaut, then on to City Hall and Marina Square, finally stopping at the Esplanade to stone.

On the way, Amos, Darius and I met this interesting guy, he was a painter who came from Brooklyn, New York( reminds you of someone? that Heroes guy, Isaac Mendez). Cause he wanted to look for Peninsular Plaza and so we took him there and on the way we got to know him. Seriously, he is one cool guy.

Anyway, stoned firstly at Gloria Jeans Coffee at Marina Square, then on the Roof Terrace of The Esplanade and then at the Esplanade Library.

I'm very much bored to death at home by now, so anyway i was blog hopping and i came by izumi's blog and found the story below which hit me.

The Visitor

One particular Sunday we had a visitor in our church.

He arrived early, parked his car, and got out.

Another car pulled up near him, and the driver told him, "I always park there. You took my place!"

The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat, and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, "That's my seat! You took my place!"

The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing.After Sunday School, the visitor went into the church sanctuary and sat down. Another member walked up to him and said, "That's where I always sit. You took my place!"

The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still said nothing.

Later, as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood, and his appearance began to change. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his sandaled feet.With the changes becoming more and more apparent to all in the church.Someone from the congregation called out, "What happened to you?"

The visitor replied,"I took your place."

so i guess today wasn't the start of FYP. the briefing was uber long and kwan eng seng is my ISG supervisor and tutor. so i guess we're cool. and im seeing jimmy again! 4 semesters already leh.

i'll only be starting in a month's time, which means that i'll be graduating (where i mean unofficially ending) slightly later la, cause i'll be doing a different path from the other half. oh well, God has something for me down that path which i was assigned to.

for now, ONE MONTH HOLIDAY!

and to kick it off, met chan today to pass him a few things and for lunch followed by pool. haha and he is booking in soon. well, see you on sat then.

and with the holiday, it means i can make it for the games day at depot on thursday!
